Dr. Tai Mei-Ling Sharon is Professor and senior consultant neurologist at University Malaya Medical Centre. She graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Melbourne. For postgraduate degrees, she obtained Masters of Internal Medicine from University of Malaya, as well as MRCP (UK). She had her fellowship in Singapore. Her interests are in headache, stroke, and tuberculous meningitis. She has numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, and several chapters in book She is an academic editor in International Journal of Clinical Practice. In addition, she is a reviewer for manuscripts for a number of journals.
