MUZAIMI MUSTAPHA is an Associate Professor in Medical Neuroscience at the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), School of Medical Sciences, USM Health Campus, Kelantan. He currently serves as Research Cluster Co-Chair for Neuroscience, Mental Health & Rehabilitation at USM School of Medical Sciences, Honorary Advisor for Basic Neuroscience Council Malaysian Society of Neurosciences (MSN), UNESCO Mentor Knowledge for Change (K4C), community-based participatory research at K4C@USM Hub and Malaysia’s Coordinator for the International Brain Bee Championship. His areas of interests include cerebrovascular, neurocognition, brain reward circuitry and neuroscience community-engagement. He published widely in these areas and attained international, local and institutional research grants, and graduated over 20 doctoral and masters’ students at USM graduate neuroscience programmes.
