Dr. Anna Misyail Bt. Abdul Rashid is a Neurologist and Medical Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), and practices at Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah (HSAAS), UPM. She has an established academic and clinical portfolio in cerebrovascular diseases, headache disorders, and neurovascular research, with multiple publications in reputable international journals and a Google Scholar h-index of 10. Her research contributions are supported by several university and industry-sponsored grants and clinical collaborations, contributing significantly to advancements in the field of Neurology.

Dr. Anna currently serves as an Editorial Board Member for BMC Neurology and is actively involved in multicentre clinical research, including in stroke-related clinical trials such as the TENACITY trial evaluating tenecteplase in acute ischemic stroke. In addition to her research and clinical commitments, she is deeply involved in medical education, serving as Coordinator for Master of Medicine (MMed) and supervising several  PhD candidates at UPM.
